About Me/ Company

Lead the Way Edinburgh was established this year after assisting with many other dog walkers. I found a passion that love so I have given up my day job to focus on this full time. I love spending my time outdoors with your pooches rather than in the office.

I am Fully Insured through Pet Plan Sanctuary, so you can be secure in the knowledge that I am professional about the safety of your pets whilst in my care.

I have full Disclosure Scotland No 200000008256983 as you will be trusting me with both your pet’s and home security when I pick up and drop off this providing assurance that your privacy and security are in safe hands.

I am fully registered with Edinburgh Council as a commercial dog walker meaning I have full permission to use Edinburgh’s parks and greenspace whilst adhering to their code of conduct.

I provide a free meet and greet session so you can get to know me and I can get to know your pooch. Its a great opportunity for you to ask any questions and I am more than happy to show you all my documentation. It lets me also see the nature of your dog and I will also introduce the dog to the pooch mobile.

Qualifications & Training

I take responsibility for your doggy seriously and I am fully certified in Canine First Aid AoFAQ QFQUAL 2/6/2017 that means that should your doggy ever need help whilst with me I can give it vital assistance until we reach a vet.

Relevant Info

Dogs have more fun if they can play and interact so I mainly provide group walks. The groups are kept to a maximum of 5 dogs and groups are carefully selected with breed, age, sex and nature. Solo walks are also available for the more timid dog. Not all dogs are comfortable interacting and prefer one to one time. Please just ask for more information.

Generally dogs will be walked off the lead but it really depends on what you want and how good the dog is on their recall. I can keep the dog on a long lead so they can run and play safely.

Your home key will be kept secure and is secured in such a way that no key can be identified to any particular property. In the event of your key being lost or stolen we will advise you immediately. Your personal information will never be sold or discussed with any third party in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
