About Me/ Company

My name is Lauren Frayne and I am 20 years old. I am currently studying in Edinburgh and just finished my second year. If there is one thing to know about me it is that I love animals; I have three dogs of my own and have grown up surrounded by them so am no stranger to the work that dogs require.
I am enthusiastic and do not shy away from a challenge. I would love to be able to help someone out with their dogs as I know how much work they can be!

Previous Experience

When I was doing my bronze Duke of Edinburgh award I started volunteering at my local animal sanctuary for 6 months but I loved it so much I decided to keep it on and stayed there for another 3 years.

Most of my time there was in the puppy unit looking after them doing jobs such as cleaning out there sleeping areas, giving them their relevant medication and feeding them.

During the day I would speak to the public regarding the pups and give them any advice. I would also lend a helping hand to anyone working with the dogs. I would help them get the dogs ready for their walks with members of the public and help train them if they needed it. It was a lot of fun getting to know the dogs and when they were adopted it was great seeing them going off with a good family!
