About Me/ Company

I have finished my a levels and was a young leader at rainbows which has given me more confidence in being a leader of a big group and a small group and by being a leader this gives me more responsibility and will develop my team building making me a more effective team player and better at decision making skills.I used to care for a severely disabled boy with learning disabilities who I had been caring for over a year and it has been the most responsibility I have currently had to have. It allows me to be to in a variety of situations from working with him and it has led to me be able to be decisive in certain situations and increased my ability to work independently and with other people as I would have to work with other carers. I most recently have been a Residential Support worker for people with learning disabilities which allowed me to work with a variety of ages and have also had various training for that job. I have work experience with children and adults; I interact with people very well as a result of my variety of work experience. I also have a passion for animals and nature, from a young age I have always had the experience of looking after my own animals ranging from cats to dogs, ferrets to ducks

Previous Experience

from a young age I have always had the experience of looking after my own animals ranging from cats to dogs, ferrets to ducks. In my spare time I read through my various nature books. I did a week’s work experience in local vets which required me to help feed the inpatients, hold animals and assist where appropriate. I want to progress into a career with animals.

I feel that I am very good at time keeping which is a result of revising for various exams. I have good IT ability, I am using a computer regular whether for research, work or in my free time. I feel that I am a responsible person which I’ve had to be when I was caring for the disabled boy and being a young leader. I have good people skills which I feel is vital for any job and one topic of my health and social care coursework was communication which helped increase my knowledge and I also feel that I am approachable person , bubbly person who works very well with people. I have very good communications skills as I used the phone to speak to various professionals at my previous work. I feel that I am practical person, I like to help out in the garden, decorating etc and cook a lot in my spare time.
