About Me/ Company

Hello! My name is Lara Starr and I have just recently moved to the UK from America. I am 27 years old, and I have just recently gotten married and moved to Shropshire. My whole life I have worked around animals, including dogs. When I moved to the UK, I had hoped to find similar work, but so far I've been unsuccessful. I wasn't sure how I could get involved with helping animals in the UK, but I figured this area was a good place to start.

Previous Experience

I grew up on a farm in Upstate NY where we had over 100 animals including dozens of different dog breeds, horses, cats, birds, exotic animals, you name it. My first actual job, was at a Zoo when I was 15. From there I have worked at various Zoos, Animal Shelters, Vet hospitals, Parks and Recreation, Marine Mammal Stranding Centers, you name it. I love people, but I especially love animals.

Qualifications & Training

I am excellent working with all animals, but I am especially good with dogs. I have done doggy obedience training, as well as working with abused or neglected animals, so I know how to deal with pretty much every aspect.
