About Me/ Company

I work alone. I love animals, especially dogs. I have 5 dogs of my own, although they are not here with me now and this is a reason why I would love to work with animals, as it reminds me of them and helps me not feel alone. We all know what it is like to be in another country alone, without the ones you love most. My dogs are my family and therefore I know how most people that have pets feel as well. I have spent a lot of time looking after strays as well and making sure I find them good homes and when not doing so, a lot of time grooming my own dogs (Huskies) as they require lots of grooming. I hope I can soon save enough money to bring my dogs here, which is one reason why I took this job of looking after animals. I have grown up in Africa where I had all sorts of pets ranging from monkeys, gorillas, sheep, goose, ducks, dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles, hamsters and more. It is in my nature to be around animals and I couldn't be more happy than I am surrounded by them.

Previous Experience

I was a volunteer in the animal welfare in my country and did my best to help in any way i can homeless animals. In fact that is where I got most of my dogs I own from. It is a pity in my country people do not love animals as much. My love for animals has enabled me to learn so much about them and to want to work with them, it is the only time I am happy working, doing something that I love, SPENDING TIME with them. I hope to get a Zoology degree in future. I train my dogs myself and am very good at that as I have spent hours of reading books and hours to teach my dogs and other people's dogs as well. I have worked at a vet practice in my country where I was in contact with animals on a daily basis and also did a grooming as well as part of my job.

Relevant Info

I have also worked as an afterschool assistant for children and also in children's playgrounds in my country. I also once looked after two children in their house for more than 8 hours a day, cooking for them, bathing them etc on a daily basis. I love children as well, and I have 4 nephews and a Niece I have been looking after for many years when my sister had to work.
As I was a volunteer of the Greek Red Cross in my country I have passed the tests and am a trained First Aid Provider for adults and children and also have a Lifeguard Degree from the Red Cross in Greece. I have spent a lot of voluntary hours as well in our hospital in the Accident and Emergency department as this was part of my training. I love being around people and helping others as much as I can.

Other Services

Apart from dog sitting, grooming and looking after your animals in general, I can also do baby or children's sitting and errands that you might not want to do. For fees in general please contact me directly as it varies depending on what I have to do and for how many hours. Obviously the more hours I am needed the cheaper the rate gets. I can also help with gardening as I have worked part time in my country as a gardener and garden designer.
