About Me/ Company

I am a student studying at Durham University, and often remain in the area outside of term-time. I love dogs and have experience of walking and caring for a huge variety of sizes, breeds and temperaments.

I have two yorkshire terriers, Oscar and Poppy. They love walking whatever the weather, and can walk for hours at a time!

Previous Experience

Before starting university I volunteered at a local dog shelter. This included walking, feeding and playing with the dogs, as well as cleaning their living areas. I learnt to be aware of individual dogs' needs and temperaments. For instance, some were afraid of bikes or buses, or chased cats or children, or did not like to be touched by strangers. It's important to be observant whilst walking them to ensure they have safe and fun walks!

I have also walked dogs and dog-sat (day and night) for family friends, and have 2 dogs of my own: a lot of dog-walking experience!
