About Me/ Company

Hi,

My name is Krystal and I am available within the Edinburgh area to walk/sit dogs.

I have pet-sitting experience with large breed dogs and have references available on request.

I am a friendly, open, enthusiastic person who loves animals. I am happy to look after other animals that live along side the dog such as cats, rodents, lizards and fish.

Previous Experience

I have pet sat for someone who went on holiday for 2 weeks. They owned an English Setter, a Weimaraner, 2 cats and chickens. My duties included administering medication and cleaning a cut to one of the dog's foot which happened before I arrived. I would walk the two dogs twice a day and make sure they had plenty of fresh water and fed them to the owners requirements. In the evenings I would make sure they got plenty of attention and play catch with them in the evenings. I would also groom the English Setter regularly.

I have also pet sat for another person who owned an elderly cat. I would make sure he was well fed and let him out whenever he wanted. I would make sure that he was well groomed (as he was a long haired cat). He liked to sit with me in the evenings while I worked on my laptop or watched TV. I gave him lots of attention and if he wanted to sleep on the bed with me I let him.

A little about me:

In my free time I like to indulge in photography, hill walking, baking and reading. I have a keen interest in British wildlife and would love to work with animals full-time. In the past I have helped re home rescue animals looking for a forever home. However, I would like to gain more experience that I can put on my CV to help me achieve my goal of working with animals as my main experience to date has been in customer service/retail.

I live in the centre of Edinburgh, but do not have my own transport, so if you live centrally I will be more than happy to walk/sit your dog. If it is sitting you require I am more than happy to travel by public transport.
