About Me/ Company

Hi my name is Kay and my Dog walking and pet care name is: KAY'9 Dog Walking and Pet Care Services. I have over 20 years experience dealing with dogs, cats as a pet owner, as well as other small independent animals. I have been pet sitting and dog walking for friends and family for several years and decided earlier this year that it would be great if I did this professionally! and offer my services to a wider area and clientele.

Previous Experience

I completed work experience at a local "Doggy Day Care", centre, where we had anything from 15 - 20 dogs per day, being cared for from early in the morning to late evening. They had playtime with bubble machines, assault courses, ball games. Time out sessions were instilled if they got a little out of hand. Chill and relax time was in the afternoon, classical music was played and bean bags and mats put around where all the dogs new it was time to sleep, chill and relax for an hour. Truly amazing that they all did this together!

Qualifications & Training

Trained in Practical Animal Handling and Care skills at Salford City College, Levels 1 & 2. Including Introduction to Animal Nursing. First Aid for Animals. Introduction to Dog Grooming at Salford City College. Holly & Hugo Veterinary Support Assistant Certificate and Dog Behaviour & Training Certificate.

I offer many services to meet your needs:
* Dog walking: your dog can have fun and release energy with a walk tailored to their needs. I can visit you and your dog for a free introduction to design a personal walking program.
* Solo walks and group walks offered.
* Pet sitting/feeding & waste removal. Check on your pet whilst you are away on holiday, or at work, to make sure everything is fine. Provide playtime.
* Puppy walks/socialization/visits to the park.
