About Me/ Company

I cover South East London and surrounding areas & Bromley.

My name is Kay and I am a dog lover! I have always had dogs since a young age, including a Labrador, a Great Dane and a King Charles Spaniel. Once I moved out of home I got myself a beautiful loving Staff called Iron and I fell completely in love with the breed. A few years later we decided he needed some company and along came Allze, who is a crazy, energetic and sometimes naughty girl! They are both lovely dogs and everyone who meets them always says so, it goes to show, its the breed that get a bad name, but most people know that any dog in a bad owners hands can be a dangerous one! I love my babies and couldn't be without them and am an animal lover in general. I often take my friends and families dogs out for walks and I l love it.

I decided to start dog walking professionally and the rest is history! I am happy spending all my time in their company and after many years of working in an office, decided to dedicate my time to these lovely animals and now dog walk on a full time basis.

Please know that when you entrust your pet to my care they will be getting all the love and attention they need, as well as important socialising, exercise and mental stimulation. I strive to treat every single dog as if they were my own and they will always receive the best care. I will always collect and walk the dogs myself, unless the demand gets too high, in which case you will get another trusted staff member, but you will always be informed.

As I have stated I am familiar with Staffs and large dog breeds and am happy to take on any dogs which may be considered a bit 'hard to handle'! At Kay's K9's there is no discrimination for any breed and no dog is to big or too small

Previous Experience

I have owned dogs all of my life and regularly walk family and friends dogs. I am confident with all breeds and specialise in larger breeds and Staffs, but can care for all dogs.

Other Services

We provide a friendly and reliable service for all your dog needs. All dogs are welcome, big and small, friendly or boisterous, we cater for all and do not discriminate against any breed.

We provide the following:

Dog Walking (On their own if required, or up to a group of 4 dogs)
Home Visits (Pop in to feed your dog or cat and let them out to the garden)
(Do contact me if you have any individual requirements for your pet that I may be able to help with)

COLLECTION
The dogs will be collected on foot and in person. We do not use vans to round up the animals as we feel that it is better for the dogs. The dogs will always be exercised in your local area and given lots of time to enjoy running around in the park. If you require your dog to be walked alone, this is also fine and your dog will receive special one to one time.

SAFETY
I am a responsible walker and your pets safety is just as important as fun, so dogs may be off the lead within parks and other appropriate places, but only with your written permission and if it is safe to do so. We are responsible at Kay's K9's and will always clean up after your dog.

FIRST VISIT
We are happy to come and meet you and your pet at your home so we can discuss their needs and get to know one another. This time will not be charged for, as it is an important part of the dog/walker relationship and we are happy to take the time, free of charge. For our individual safety, visits will always be with 2 people.

PRICES
Dog Walking
£10 per hour per dog (£8 per hour if same household)
£6 per half an hour per dog (£5 per half an hour if same household)
Home Visits
£10 per hour for a daily visit (Up to 2 hours)
£15 per hour for a daily visit inc. half an hour walk (Up to 2 hours)

PAYMENT & KEY COLLECTION
Payment is required weekly and in advance for the first month. After this we are happy to take payment in arrears per week. We accept cash and cheques (with a guarantee card) and also electronic bank transfers.

We will usually collect keys on the first initial visit if you are happy to take up our service. A written contract will be provided for your peace of mind stating the keys are in the care of Kay's K9 Dog Walking and we are responsible for them.

A WRITTEN CONTRACT SIGNED BY BOTH PARTIES WILL ALWAYS BE REQUIRED WHEN USING OUR SERVICES. PLEASE SEE THE CONTRACT DOWNLOAD AVAILABLE ON OUR HOMEPAGE.
