About Me/ Company

Hi,

I'm a big lover of dogs and love spending time with them. However, I do not have my own dog which is why I love to walk other peoples in my spare time!

I'm looking to help out people who need someone to help out with their regular dog walking or perhaps someone they can call at short notice.

I'm a clinical psychologist and I work in London two days a week. I live in Guildford and am looking to spend my spare time doing things I value. Given the psychology work I do, I certainly know that dogs are wonderful for your mood.

Dog walking is a hobby of mine and I'm currently not looking for paid employment with regard to this. However, I'm aware that public liability insurance is wise and I would request that this be covered if this is preferred. This can be broken down per walk and will probably work out as £4-5 per walk if this was to be a regular activity.

Previous Experience

I am confident in handing dogs and have had two family dogs as a child. I know the area of Guildford quite well and will happy walk your dog in the country side, local parks and by the river...wherever you prefer.

I attend the Discover Dogs event in London too.

Qualifications & Training

Not that this is very relevant but I have recently completed a doctoral degree in clinical psychology which has involved working with vulnerable adults in the NHS for 3 years. I have also had recent CRB checks and am happy to provide documentation when requested.

I'm happy to discuss by phone/email walking your dog and, of course, the insurance issue if required. I'm happy to meet you and your dog first before you decide if you'd like me to help walking them.

I'll happily pick up and return your dog and make sure they've had any food/water they need if you're happy to provide this. I can do long or short walks. I also have a car if this is needed for me to get to you.

I can do days or evenings and weekends are a possibility to. My working days are unstable at the moment so I might not be able to offer a regular time during a week day at the moment.
