About Me/ Company

I live in Shrewsbury with my husband, 3 children, 1 Labrador, 2 cats and 3 fish.

I have always been an animal lover, and have had many pets (often from rescue centres) over the years.

Having had a professional career in social work and management positions in health and social care, I have recently been made redundant.

With a lot of love and attention to give to dogs, animals in general and people, time on my hands, and the need to lose a few pounds, dog walking and sitting etc appeals to me, as it is something I can offer to other busy people.


I am a friendly person of integrity and reliability and am trustworthy.

I am currently doing some unpaid work with elderly people with dementia.

Previous Experience

25 years experience as practitioner and senior manager in health, social care and the criminal justice system.

Had dogs and cats throughout my childhood and adult life.

Qualifications & Training

I dont' think my social work, management, counselling or coaching qualifications will be relevant, as they pertain to humans!

However, they may give an indication of me as a person with a professional background in the caring professions, and some of that could be transferrable to working with animals.
