About Me/ Company

I am an animal-lover currently studying an MSc Environmental Biology course at Swansea University. In 2011, I gained a First Class degree with honours in BSc Zoology. I hope to work with animals in my future career path.

I am extremely active and partake in a variety of sporting activities. I play hockey for the University and I run in my spare time. I used to swim at club level as well. I love going for walks in the countryside or on the beach.

Previous Experience

I have previously worked for a dog grooming company as a groomer, a dog walker and a dog sitter. I have walked a varitey of dogs, on and off lead, and up to 5 animals at a time.

My most recent experience has been as a hospital assistant with the RSPCA in the Harmsworth Hospital in North London. I was trained in giving first aid to sick animals, medicating animals through injections and tablet forms, walking dogs and generally keeping them happy in a very lonely and stressful environment. I have had to handle aggresive dogs, as well as shy dogs who just need to be shown a bit of love and attention to transform them into confident, excitable dogs ready for the rehoming centres.
