About Me/ Company

My names is Kate Grice, I'm 22 & live in Overseal, Derbyshire. I have 4 of my own dogs:
1. Max (Collie Cross)
2. Floyd (Cocker Spaniel)
3. Ruby (CKCS)
4. Maisie (Beagle Cross)
I am a massive dog enthusiast and come 2013 I will be starting courses on dog behavior, training & nutrition. Looking to run my own classes eventually for all aged dogs.
I recently worked at a vets for over a year which has given me a wealth of knowledge on all aspects of dog ownership, ailments and products on the market.
In the future I hope to show dogs, preferably German Wire-Haired Pointers. I adore all breeds of dogs and believe every dog deserves the best life it can. I am also passionate about changing peoples views on dogs who have a stigma attached to them, eg. Staffordshre Bull Terriers, Rotties, German Shepherds, etc.

Previous Experience

The main experience I have had is when I worked at racing greyhound kennels, I was one of the main carers for over 100+ dogs both retired and racing. I walked upto 20 dogs a day, 4 at a time all on the leads, walking to heel and past the kennels cats (which with 4 greyhounds in your hands is no easy task!).
Since then my main experience is with my own dogs, owning 4 means working with 4 different personalities and keeping them controlled, safe and happy!
3 were rescue dogs which brings its own problems, one having a bad case of fear aggression which with patience, training and time is slowly disappearing.
I was also responsible for handling the dogs in the veterinary practice when dogs needed taking to/from the kennels, weighing or taking to the vet/owners car.
