About Me/ Company

Hello! My name is Kate. I am 23 years old and based in the North East. I have my own car (Had car and license for 3 years) and am prepared to drive to most areas to help with your dog sitting and walking needs! I'm a very friendly, easy going person and love all animals of all breeds and can guarantee quality care for your pet. My rates are negotiable, I have my phone on me 24/7 and can always be contacted. Previous Experience

Having grown up on a farm in Northumberland I am used to various types of animals, especially dogs. I have my own home with my partner but at my family farm we currently have 2 German Shepherds, 1 Boarder Collie cross, 6 cats, 8 chickens, 4 ducks, 1 cockerel and too many sheep to count! I trained our eldest GSD to walk properly on a lead and to respond to my voice when off the lead... despite his nature to want to herd the sheep, he stays knee level with me at my command. Our youngest GSD I am currently training to ride on the farming quad (she's doing incredibly well!)

In my spare time I am also a volunteer for Brysons Animal Shelter near Gateshead as a dog walker. Some of the dogs there have issues that run quite deep due to troubled pasts so can be shy, aggressive or very scared of any human contact. Because of this experience I am used to handling every dog in a way which is comfortable for them individually. I do not shy away from an aggressive dog, I make sure they know their safe, stay calm and carry on as normal. A shy dog may need a little more encouragement so I take my time and get to know them a little.... and as you may know, there are always doggies who want constant cuddles and to lick your face off.... I'm used to this too!!
