About Me/ Company

After working in teaching for almost 10 years, I am now looking to pursue a career with my number one passion in life... animals. I have shared my life and my home with dogs for as long as I can remember. I love just being around them, and would feel extremely fortunate to do this on a daily basis. I am trustworthy, and treat every dog as if it were my own. I would like to establish maybe one or two regular walks in the Alfreton area. I believe this would allow me to give my full attention to your dog, rather than having to be somewhere else at a certain time, and maybe having to cut the walk short due to travel time. For this reason I am just looking for work in the Alfreton area.

Previous Experience

Since leaving teaching I have worked at a boarding kennels and cattery during busy periods. My responsibilities were mainly to clean and maintain the kennels, change the bedding, fill water bowls and walk the dogs. I have also been a volunteer dog walker at an animal rescue for the past 15 years. This involves exercising and playing with the dogs, and socialising them on walks in the hope that they will find a forever home. I also make regular trips to an animal sanctuary in Greece, where I clean the runs, feed, worm, groom and generally give lots of love to the 350 dogs that are there!!
