About Me/ Company

I have recently given up a full time career in the recruitment industry to realise my lifelong dream which is to work with animals. I am currently studying animal care and husbandry at college where I am a full time mature student (in my fifties).

I walk my friends' dogs and was brought up with dogs although I just have lots of cats and chickens at the moment.

As well as dog walking/dog sitting I am very capable of looking after a variety of other pets small and large so do give me a call if I can help with your other animals.

The course that I am studying at the moment is a mixture of practical and theoretical training with the practical animal handling sessions taking place on site at the college’s own Animal Management Centre.

The course covers a wide variety of topics including:
• Dog behaviour
• Dog grooming
• Practical animal handling
• Animal health and behaviour
• Animal breeding and welfare
• Animal biology, anatomy and physiology
• Animal nutrition
• Health and husbandry of domestic pets, livestock, exotic and zoo animals
• Wildlife rehabilitation and management
