About Me/ Company

I have a 5 month old cocker spaniel that I have been training and enjoy spending my spare time walking him in various outdoor and woodland areas. I relish the time spent on relaxing walks and believe that all dogs need to spend a substantial amount of time outdoors, using their senses to find a sense of fulfilment and happiness they are unable to experience elsewhere.

I am in the process of finding friendly and loveable doggies to share the joy of walks with. If you feel that your canine companion would greatly benefit from safe and fulfilling walks that I am looking to share with them then I would love to hear from you.

Previous Experience

I have been around dogs all of my life and, while I love all animals, I have a natural affinity with dogs. I have been walking dogs within my family for many years, ranging from jack russell's to german shepherds.

I volunteered as a dog walker for an animal shelter in Cyprus when I spent the summer there in 2012. I currently walk my aunt's three dogs on an ad hoc basis and fully appreciate that each dog has its own personality and temperament. As such I aim to understand each dog individually to ensure that they are at ease during each walk, subsequently obtaining the optimum benefit from each walk.

Qualifications & Training

While I do not have any qualifications specific to dog walking, I am educated to master's level, having recently completed an MSc in Social and Cultural Anthropology.

During my employment history I have undertaken many residential and community support roles, hence I have a kind and compassionate approach to all tasks undertaken and feel this enables me to conduct dog walks in a calm and confident manner.

I have general experience of dog care and grooming and aim to build on these skills as I dedicate more of my time to the rewarding world of dogs.
