About Me/ Company

Hi, my name is Jane and my company name is Janes Pet Sitting One to One (JPS 121). I live on Salisbury Plain and have a lovely walking environment. I am keen to help anyone who requires pet/dog care to suit their needs. I am very much an outdoor person and dogs/animals are my passion. I go out in all weather and will tend to your dogs needs whatever that may be. My home is their home.

At present I look after friends dogs when they go away. People come to me with their dogs by word of mouth. My own two dogs died at the grand old ages of 15 and 17. I never replaced them becasue there is always someone who wants to leave their dog with me. In this respect I get the satisfaction of having a dog in my home as if it were my own.

Previous Experience

My dogs are my experience and looking after other peoples'.

I worked in a dog rescue centre for 2 years and looked after the centre for two weeks when the owner required a much needed rest. This has been taken over by The Dogs Trust.

The owners of the dogs I have looked after can verify my passion for dogs and the rapor I have with them. Dogs love coming to my house. Walking is not an effort for me and I go out in all weather in the lovely countryside I reside in.

Qualifications & Training

I do not hold any dog qualifications but my experience with my own dogs and other peoples' I feel give me the experience I need. Also working in a rescue centre and running the place for 2 weeks I feel qualifies me for looking after dogs.

Relevant Info

The animal is my main priority and they would always come first. Living in my home as if it were their own and giving them walks to suit their needs, in a safe and comfortable environment means dogs and owners are happy.

Other Services

I do plan to carry out home sitting services at some time in the future and this would include looking after horses, small pets and any other animals that require feeding and looking after.

I have experience with horses, am a competent rider and have looked after 3 day event horses for Lucinder Fredericks in the past.

Becoming a member of the National Registered Pet Sitters will enable me to go further afield if needed.

I have excellent references from Senior Military Officers to show I am a trustworthy, responsible and reliable individual.
