About Me/ Company

Hi, my name is Maggie, recently made redundant after 23years I have decided to follow my passion of running, dogs and the great outdoors. I have used dog walkers myself when I worked full time so I fully understand the needs of clients.
Dogs will have an off road trail walking and jogging exercise session, in local woods, byeways or trail paths, this is proving to be very popular, better than a walk around the block, all fitness levels are catered for. For high energy/working dogs I can also offer trail biking sessions. Going for a regular run has excellent health benefits for your pet. It's an excellent cardiovascular exercise, meaning that the heart and lungs get a good workout. This has the benefit of decreasing blood pressure, burning off calories which helps maintain a healthy weight, and keeps the muscles and joints flexible.
Being out and about also helps give your dog a psychological workout, finding new smells, socializing with other animals and exploring new territories, all of which help keep a dog healthy and well rounded. On top of this though the extra expenditure of energy will mean that your dog is less frustrated at home and more willing to relax. This will help reduce some of those unwanted behaviours such as chewing on furniture or over-excitability.
Dogs will be washed off as much as possible with a portable hose prior to being dropped off. I am reliable and flexible and in my spare time I take part in a sport called Canicross, this is canine cross country running with dogs, I do this with my 2 border collies and they absolutely love it. We have won lots of rosettes and medals and last year we came 2nd in the UK Canix 2 dog championship.
