We live in Netherton, Dudley and we have a 4 yr old German Rottweiller bitch.
We are seeking an experienced dog walker who is also experienced with handling rottweillers or similar breeds.
We would require the dog walker to collect Roxy from our home twice a day and take her for a 1 hour walk, in the morning and again at tea time. We live over the road from Bumble Hole Nature reserve, and Roxy is excellent off the lead and is happiest running through the trees and across the fields. She is very obedient and will come back to you when called, but as with dogs breeds such as rottweiller, you need to be firm.
Roxy can be a little tempremental with other dogs who are of high energy and will avoid them rather than interact with them, and will warn them off if they are persistently annoying her.
As Roxy is unsure of strangers, I would be happier if the walker would be willing to accompany us on a couple of Roxy\'s walks beforehand, so we can feel confident that both the walker and Roxy are happy.
