Dear Dog Handler,
My lovely dog Heidi is 7 years old, she had althritis and is on medication. Dispite her breed she is truly a lap dog with myself and my son. However, on dog walks she is very very difficult and I am finding it so hard to walk her.
I live in a house which backs onto a large farmers field so I throw the ball for her twice a day. However, I want her to have a real run twice a week.
I can manage walking her off the lead on a walk on my own as she wears a muzzle and does not run away. But I am a single mum and have a 3 year old son. It is a great stress to walk her. She pulls like mad on the lead even though she has a halti and she also jumps out at cars. The last time I walked her it was so stressful both my son and I were in tears when we got home.
I just want the best for my lovely dog and if someone out there can help by taking her for a walk I would be very greatful. Once she got to know you she would show you the love and trust she gives to us. That is why I do not want her to miss out on her walks
