Hi There,
We are going on holiday for a week in early November and I would like to get a dog walker in place early so that my elderly in laws don't get too stressed!
The dogs will be staying in Axholme Road, Thingwall. They have often been walked in Royden park and the lane off Thingwall Road opposite whalley Lane etc so they know the area well. They can all be walked together too as they all get on very well.
We have 3 rescue dogs:
3 year old male patterjack - who is a bit of a handful & isn't good with other strange dogs on leads. We have a soft muzzle for him. He's great with humans though.
3 year old female Westiepoo - who can be a bit of an escapologist but walks well on the lead and is super friendly with dogs and humans. We have a harness for her too.
And a 12 year old collie cross - who is scared of crow scarers & isn't too keen on kids, can walk on or off lead.
The westiepoo and the Collie cross are great on the lead and you can even leave the collie off it....the patterjack is a little b*gger on the lead due to excitement mainly but does stay close off the lead and always comes back. We have harnesses and a cloth muzzle for extra safety when he does his Tazmanian devil thing.....he's never hurt another dog but makes a lot of noise!
I would suggest a walk in a quiet place where there aren't many/any dogs around. They adore the beach at Meols.
