I have just started working oversees each week and need a dog walker to walk my dog, Tia.
It is usually from Monday to Thursday inclusive but over Easter and on weeks with bank holidays it will be Tuesday/Wednesday to Friday.
She is a very nervous wee dog, so may bark a bit when you pick her up from the home, but once you say 'walkies' she's ready for the lead and on a walk she is very good; she doesn't pull. She can be a bit aggressive towards other dogs but if she was going to be walked in a group she would be fine. Its non-group stranger dogs that she meets on the way that she'll bark at. She's only like this as she has been bitten a few times by other dogs so is wary of strangers. I let her off when I'm at the common and she's fine.
She will need to be walked for a least an hour (preferrably around Clapham Common) plus will need water topped up and food put down once you're back from the walk. I would prefer the walk to be around lunchtime/midday to break up her day.
I need someone that is fully insured and is comfortable with accessing the property without me there.
I would also be looking for the same person to do dogsitting occasionally when I have to stay overseas for a weekend (happy for Tia to be at their house) once she gets to know you.
