Hiya, my husband and I work full-time and we find we don't walk Alfie as much as we should which means he gets a bit excitable at times. His recall is not brilliant so we tend to keep him on the lead but would be happy for someone to try to improve this. He is 20 months and has been castrated. He gets excited to see other dogs and will want to go to them. He is friendly to other dogs but he gets too giddy and can annoy older dogs. Its a vicious circle we need to socialize him but he is hard work around other dogs because of his giddy behaviour.
I have given you the worst case scenario just so I can get someone experienced in giddy labradors!! He is loving, friendly and good on the lead.
