Details:
We are looking for an experienced dog walker / pet carer to join our team. In addition to carrying out dogwalking/petsitting duties, we are looking for someone with an interest in learning more about dog behaviour and training.
Hours of Work: 11.30 - 2.30 a couple of days a week initially to include Mondays.
Opportunity to increase hours for the right candidate. Flexibility is essential.
Duties and Responsibilities
Walk dogs in small groups of no more than 4.
Feed/clean out as required for cats and other small pets.
Raise the profile of the business through word of mouth and other marketing activities.
Actively learn about dog training and behaviour.
Skills / Qualifications / Experience Required
Must have previous experience of owning dogs.
Knowledge of other pets desirable.
Animal care qualification desirable.
Excellent communication skills essential.
Full driving license and use of a car essential.
Must have a vehicle that is suitable to transport dogs (minimum size Ford Focus or equivalent).
