I have a 3 year old rescue german shepherd.
I've only had him a couple of weeks so am not yet at the stage where I'm confident letting him off the lead as we're still working on the recall. He is large and strong, so I would need to be confident you could handle him - preferably someone with experience of GSD's.
He's very nice natured and on the whole he is fine on the lead but will pull if there is another dog in the near vicinity - he gets over excited and wants to play, therefore he can only be walked individually. I will need someone to walk him 3 days a week and on other occasions if they come up.
