Our Dog Walkers (http://ourdogwalkers.co.uk) is looking for experienced dog owners to assist in walking clients dogs in Cheltenham and Tewkesbury areas.
The ideal candidates will be out walking daily in open countryside with their own dog and like the idea of taking additional dogs with them so effectively earning while they walk. Typically you will walk two to four dogs at a time and be required to collect and drop off the dogs before and after the walks using your own vehicle. Ideally you will be able to complete one, one-hour dog walk per day, usually around 12 noon, Mon-Fri but the number of walks per week is flexible subject to circumstances. You will be insured by Our Dog Walkers while walking client's dogs.
As a dog owner you will know that dogs need to be walked in all weathers and this is exactly what we do. We do proper walks with dogs mostly off the lead so they are allowed to really stretch their legs and interact with the other dogs. It's a great way to keep you fit too.
Rates of pay for completing a one hour dog walk:
1 dog £10
2 dogs £15
3 dogs £20
4 dogs £25
5 dogs £30
6 dogs £35
You will be self employed and paid bi-weekly on submission of your invoice.
The Interview process
Step 1 - Email us with a brief CV and summary of your experience as a dog owner and state if you would like to work in Cheltenham or Tewkesbury.
Step 2 - Successful applicants will be invited to join one of Our Dog Walkers experienced walkers on a one hour walk. Please bring your dog along to meet the other dogs while you see what a typical group dog walk is like, including the dog collection and drop-offs.
Step 3 - If you decide this is for you and we feel you\'ll fit in with the team, you\'ll need to provide us with a copy of your CRB check.
Step 4 - Successful applicants will be accompanied by one of our existing dog walkers on their first paid dog walk after which, if both parties feel comfortable, you will undertake the walks on your own.
