Details:
Pringles is 4.5 years old, neutered and suffers from the early onset of arthritis in his right shoulder. This does not stop him from wanting go get out and run. As a result of the neutering and the arthritis he is slightly overweight and is on a diet. He is a very placid and friendly dog who has been well socialised and knows the ins and out of canine social etiquette, he gets on with all breads and sizes. His physical stature can be intimidating but once he greets a new dog the owners very quickly relax. He is a trotter and sniffer rather than a leaper and bounder!
He has never stayed away from home nor been on a walk with anyone but myself or wife. We want to break him out for this so that he is his happy to stay away from home and walk with trusted people. Ideally I would like this to be a gradual process so I am not looking anything permanent yet. I am looking at starting small and gradually building up to an extended period away from home and to be able to happily go on walks with trusted people by Easter.
