Details:
We’re looking for someone who can become a Dog Parent to our two Thai Ridge Backs. They are medium sized (18kg) spayed bitches and are nearly three years old. Temperament wise they are very high alert and love nothing more than chasing each other around the park and trying to catch mice, squirrels and anything else that will move! They are not particularly interested in other dogs and tend to be pretty tuned in to each other. We have never known them to have a fight but generally they are more relaxed around male dogs. It is in their breed to be wary of strangers and for this reason they will not want to bound up to everyone wiggling the bums and looking for attention. They are very loyal and affectionate towards people they know and feel comfortable with. They would be most suited to someone who was confidant yet sensitive in order to build their trust. We need someone who can take them into their home for occasional weekends and short holidays. We would set up some regular walks in order to allow the dogs and the handler to create a bond.
