Details:
We are a professional household in central Tadley, close to country lanes and a common.
We're sometimes away for long weekends and require someone reliable and sensible to (ideally) stay overnight with the dogs, walk them twice a day and feed them. (We also have two cats which require feeding). If unable to stay over, two daily walks are fine. This job would not suit anyone with mobility problems as the dogs are strong and energetic.
Milo is 10 years old, and Max is 5. They are friendly but territorial, barking at the doorbell, the postman and delivery drivers! They love human company and especially love to run out on the common. Max is a really good escape artiste and will get out to chase the neighbours' cats if he can....
The dogs like to run loose on the common, but Max does have an occasional habit of doing a runner! They are fine in a car but whine whilst journeying.
Milo is not very socialable with other dogs. He usually ignores them.
They will need someone who can be firm with them. They are fine on the lead.
They are not permitted on the furniture at home, but they don't always obey this if they think they are alone!
We are happy for someone to walk them, but we can offer a room if the walker would like to stay.
At the moment, there are four weekends available (up until the end of October), but there wil lbe more in the future.
