Hi, my name is Debbie and i have a beautiful dalmatian cross rescue dog. I've had him for 4 years now (hes 4 1/2yrs) and he has always come to work with me in nursing homes that i have managed. Recently my circumstances have changed a lot- i've been made redundant and am newly single and have moved house! I am really struggling as my dog will no longer happily stay at home while i visit family or go shopping etc and howls with anxiety from the minute i leave the house which is obviously upsetting neighbours (this has not been the case in the past). I'm worried about what will happen when i'm back at work (if he cant come with me) and for now i cant leave the house! but no way can i part with him.
He has a lovely nature - hes a submissive dog and very obedient. I let him off the lead in the park or woods and he always comes back to me when i clap my hands.
So at the moment i'm looking for a dog lover in my local area who can look after forest if i need to go out. In the near future i will need a sitter or walker to help me when i'm at work. It would also be great if i found someone who would also be willing to look after him when i go on holiday as it would break my heart to will put him into kennels.
Is there anyone out there in my area who is flexible enough to offer these services without it costing a fortune?
