I need someone to look after my lovely Westie while I am at work. He is a lovely natured, sociable little dog who gets on very well with other dogs and people. Due to a change in my work and health circumstances, I am looking for someone who would be able to walk him, either alone or with other dogs, who would be able to come round to the house to keep him company and to let him out for his business etc if needs be, who would be happy to take him into their home during the day if needs be, or to have him stay with them if I go away. I already have a lovely lady who is a professional dog minder who looks after him when she can, but as she is very good, she is very busy and finding it difficult to always find the time to look after him when I need her to. I would need the person to be as flexible as possible as I may need them at short notice and I might need them every day for a week say, then not at all for two or three weeks, it really depends on what is happening at work. He also comes into work with me, but depending on what is going on, this is not always possible. A genuine love, understanding and experience of dogs is more important than professional qualifications. I hope to hear from you soon!
