Jake is a 4 year old rescued German Shepherd. He had a very bad experience in Kennels after having been found straying and extremely under weight. He has zero problems with people. He doesn't bark and is very well house trained. He is very reactive to dogs he doesn't know. This is mostly fear based, not full on aggression. We have walked him with a pack of 10 other dogs and after 20 minutes he could be let off leash to play. But... for the first 20 minutes he's very reactive.
He's in training with an ex police/military trainer who's been magic and getting him calmed down. Note: per the trainer we do use a chain collar. Jake does not take to muzzles and paws them off so the chain was the best compromise.
