Hi, We are moving to Honington at the end of September. We require a walker/sitter for our two lovely dogs, Archie (Weimeraner) who is 12 months old & Barnaby (English Pointer) who is a month younger. They are great dogs, love walks, swimming and really enjoy trips out with other dogs. Both can be walked off line, Archie wont go too far off, Barnaby will investigate but good at coming when called. They love meeting people and other dogs but know if the person or dog is not interested and will leave alone. They have never shown any aggression to anybody or any other dog.
We are happy for whoever takes them out to instill any training they feel appropriate. They are quick learners and have sit, come(here), paw, leave, out, down and no. Stay is being worked on at present.
The only problem we have is that one of us works shifts and as it is on a 10 day cycle we would need someone who is very flexable as we may not require the service one week but may need multiple visits the next. We are also looking for someone to either sit at ours or have the boys at theirs overnight on occasion.
With regards numeration, we are happy to discuss, at present we pay £12 per hour for both boys, that is with a local sitter to us who takes them alone or with others if bookings, and they will do home visit at dinner time if on shift. On those visits they get a short walk then dinner when back.
Hopefully we will be in Honington in the next month or two. Apologies if this posting was long, we wanted to avoid dissappointment on either side so gave as much detail as possible. And apologies for not being able to give start date but that is dependant on move, us meeting you and seeing what you are like with the boys.
