Details:

Firstly a little about myself and my partner.

My name is Emma and my partner is Glenn. We have both finally found full time employment hence the need for a walker.

I work as a waitress in Eastbourne and my partner is a chef.

We can sometimes be away from home for up to 13/14 hours a day (such as functions or busy periods of the year at weekends).

Heidi is a GSD cross, she is approximatley 4 years old. She was found under a bridge in Spain when she was a puppy and has had 7 other homes before us. She has Canine Leishamanisis and is on medication. She is a little snobby to start with people, but once she knows you she's a loyal, protective companion. Her recall is ... tempermental but she loves her food and will do anything for a little treat. She wears a face halti on walks as whilst on the lead she will lunge and bark at other dogs. We are trying to stop this behaviour but 4 years of habit is hard to break. She is approximatley 41 kg of dog so requires a little to hold her, but this is mangeable with the halti. She can be a little food possesive, so the dogs are now seperated whilst we are away from home.

Neo is a border collie cross, he is approximatley 16 months old. He was my companion whilst I ran an animal recuse, and was from a rescue himself in Hastings. He LOVES everybody, and has a habit of jumping up when over excited, we are trying to stop this behaviour. He has started lunging on the lead and barking, copying Heidi, again off the lead he is eveyone's friend. His recal is improving with the use of a dog whistle, but he is not nearly as food obsessed as Heidi. He also has a face halti. He is approximatley 23 kg but mainly muscle as he never stops!

We require someone to walk our dogs for a couple of hours when we are work, give Heidi her evening tablet and top both food and water bowls up. When were are working all day we would like someone to spend several hours with them, grooming, training, playing, walking and giving lots of cuddles, ideally split into to visits, one around lunch time and the second around dinner time. This will break up their day and hopefully stop the destruction Neo is reaking on anything he can get his cheeky little paws on, and Heidi from toileting inside (YUCK).

Both dogs are microchipped and have collars with tags stating my surname, mobile number and that they are chipped, Heidi's also says she is on medication.

Our dogs can be a handful, but are both loving, adored members of our family, both are rescue and we do not know their whole history so we need someone with patience. We never hit our dogs, but try and use reward based training instead. Due to our jobs we can work morning, afternoon or late into the night so we need someone flexible. We do not ask people to work late nights (only up until around 8pm).

We also have two cats, Gingie and Oliver but they will shortly have a catflap so do not need such special care as our pups.
