Our two dogs Benji and Lucy will be needing some regular daycare / walking if I am accepted to the new job I am applying for. (will know before end of March)
My job will be shift patterns and will take me out of the country and my partner works long hours mon-fri. I will get every months worth of shifts given to me in advance, so will need someone who is willing to be flexible depending on my shift patterns.
I am also looking for someone for long term since its stressful for the dogs to go trough change. This is why I will be picky (but not unreasonable!!) since I really must get the right match to my much beloved babies.
Benji is a typical border collie and I REALLY NEED you to have experience of similar breed(s). He is very full on, very work focused and even he is lovely with adults and good with other dogs, he is NOT good with children and will sometimes "collie pop" if other dogs pester him to play too much. He will not play with other dogs, but if you ask him to "work" for you eg fetch the ball, he becomes a lean, mean working machine ;D
Lucy our terrier is the sweetest most loving thing ever and she sometimes gets very worried of big dogs and also hates if they pester her. Being a terrier, she will fiercely defend herself and she would not ever bite, she can sure make a lot of sound ;D Sheis great with people, loves cuddles and love typical terreir activities of hunting and chasing. She is not safe off lead in woods (too many smells) but is great on a flexi lead. On fields and open areas she is great off lead and has a great recall.
We are based in central Reading. The dogs must be walked off lead (I drive them to off lead areas everyday) to get their running needs fullfilled!!
