Full-time Dog Walker/Dog Handler wanted for small friendly business based in West London.
The successful applicant must have previous dog handling experience as they will be expected to walk 6 dogs on and off lead at a time. They must be able to drive a large 4 x 4 vehicle, be physically fit, have excellent communication skills, be well presented, honest and trustworthy.
Experience in retails sales is an advantage, as is a good understanding of the English language and computer literacy as we also have a retail shop, dog day crèche and a grooming parlour and you will be expected to occasionally cover in these areas of the business.
All applicants must be eligible to work in this country, have a national insurance number and provide good references. All applicants will be police checked.
We are a small, successful, friendly business catering for all aspects of dog care including walking, training, grooming and retail sales. We have recently expanded into dog grooming and look to expand further still in the near future thus providing excellent career opportunities for the successful candidate.
Hours are approx 45 hrs per week, 5 days a week Monday – Friday 8 am – 5pm (these days and times are subject to change), duties will include liaising with clients, picking up and dropping off dogs from their respective homes, walking up to 6 dogs at a time, occasionally helping in retails sales, washing dogs, cleaning facilities and vehicles and general day to day chores in all aspects of business/shop/office when needed.
Salary is £18,000 per annum including holiday pay.
Applicants who are not experienced dog handlers and can not drive will not be considered.
