Caber is an 11 year old Lab. he is very fit but has arthritis in his front elbow joint which means that he would suffer for being taken for walks of over an hour and a half. He is willing but without his anti-inflammatories it would be unkind. Since I am about to go mountain walking, sadly I cannot take him too.
He is brilliant with my children, but you mustn't let kids crowd him because it bothers him.
