I need a dog sitter for Poppy for 2 weeks. She is quite a soppy dog but very human orientated so cannot be left on her own. Gets on well with other dogs but is terrified of anything she thinks is bigger or fluffier than her......in particular Alasations/GSD and will bark aggressively the minute she sees them. Sadly this draws their attention to her rather than warns them off.........once they get close she will go all whimpery, tail between legs etc. She is now 8 1/2 and gets a bit grumpy with very young dogs.......typical middle-aged woman behaviour. When walking her, she never strays far from you and recall is good especially if you have treats. She is happy to run with other dogs OR mooch round with a human. Fed on dry food twice a day. At home she is expected to be on her bed but she is a lot happier to curl up on a sofa with someone......any other questions about her please ask.
