Details:
I am looking for a home from home boarding service for Cosmo for two days and nights in early July. Then likely one weekend a month from July to the end of September which will be Friday to Sunday evening inclusive.
Please note I live in Kent, near Maidstone J8 of the M20. I travel to Guildford once a month and am looking for somewhere local for long term boarding arrangements and odd weekends. So I cannot get to London or Essex or Sussex or anywhere really further than about 15-20 miles from Maidstone.
He walks well on the lead and happily with other dogs on and off the lead at home as he has a lovely lady who currently walks him in the week with her dog. He gets on with most dogs, sometimes he can be a bit nervous due to prior experience with some breeds but he will settle when he is away from home and has stayed with other dogs of varying breeds and got on with them during the stay and on walks.
He travels well in a car.
He has had his annual vaccination, kennel cough, wormer and flea treatment. He is neutered. He is eight years currently, nine in August and is an active dog that likes to mix with people when at home or away from home, typical Viszla.
I should also mention, he does not live well with cats in the home. He has a history of chasing cats, rabbits and chickens. He just likes to chase things and does not understand that chickens, rabbits and cats do not want to play. So he cannot go to a home where there are cats already as he will not respect it is their home.
