Looking for a very reliable and capable dog sitter who has experience with larger breeds (dobemans in particular)to provide home for 5 days (4 nights) for my gentle giant : Dexter, who will be 2 years old next week. He is a very good pet with excellent behaviour. I want to make sure that he will be in the right hands- I visited some kennels as well, they were awful, dirty, smelly, no space for free movement, no personal touch- DOBERMANS ARE VERY ATTACHED TO HUMANS THEY DONT DO WELL IN KENNELS- I prefer to leave Dex with a real animal lover who provides the cuddles, scartch behind the ear - somewhere where my dog can socialize with other dogs, can exercise , play etc. HE IS VERY ENERGETIC WE EXERCISE HIM A LOT: we need a place with a large secure garden where he can play safely- I understand that walking him is more challenging as he usually runs lead free with us everywhere- however with a stranger he should be on lead to make sure he wont escape looking for us. We have 2 small children- he loves to look after them he is very friendly - we need someone with a warm, loving personality. At home he is quiet, he sleeps a lot after exercise -he is a proper sofa-boy. Please only apply if yopu have experince with large breed dogs, if you dont have cats (sorry, he doesnt like them).
