Sky is 10 and was my mums dog who passed away three years ago so I brought her into my family home as part of our family. We have tried her in kennels before but she gets very unhappy so this time I'd really like for her to be in a home environment with a dog lover who givers her what she needs. She's very undemanding and likes a walk every day, food around 4pm and spends the rest of the day following us around or sleeping in her basket. She loves to be near people although you'd hardly notice she was there. She does like to bark at strangers and would happily snarl at a stranger trying to enter your house, although as soon as you let her know that it's ok she will then settle down, but keep a close eye on them. She's lovely and sweet natured but very protective. As I type this at my work desk she is happily sleeping by my feet. She's a cross spaniel, apparently bred for hunting purposes to bring pheasants etc to you without marking them. She usually brings me a shoe or a toy when I come home or come down in the morning. She is fine with children, my two are now 14 and 4 and we've never had any issues with her temperament. She doesn't like cats at all, but is fine with other dogs as long as they are not too attention seeking / don't bother her constantly.
