Details:
Am looking for someone to care for my mum's lovely old dog whilst she is in hospital. My mum just broke her hip and won't be home for at least 2 weeks, but sadly she also has cancer and we are not sure if she will manage to return home at all. Her dog is her life and her best friend in the world and her reason for getting up in the morning.
We have been trying to get help from dog charities, but because Rosie the dog also has cancer they won't accept her and said we should take the opportunity to have Rosie put to sleep. She is still lively and a happy dog and we could not consider having Rosie put to sleep at this stage of her or my mum's life and don't feel we should be forced to.
We are looking for someone to feed and walk Rosie until the start of August, when I return from holiday and can look after her for as long as necessary. My mum's neighbours are kindly looking after Rosie, but this cannot continue for much longer. If you are available to help please contact me.
