Details:
We need Indy to have a wee holiday while we go on ours for 3 nights. Indy is a lovely good tempered dog. We have three young children under the age of 7 and he is fine with them, very well behaved - has never growled, snarled or snapped no matter what torment they may have (inadvertently) put him through. (May I add that we are not irresponsible parents and leave the children unsupervised with the dog!). He is three years old and very friendly. Only issues are; He goes crazy when the doorbell rings, barking and running around (but not vicious) and does get over excited if people egg him on (drives me MAD when we are trying to train him and folk let him jump up and lick etc). Otherwise he pads around the house as a perfect family companion - the kids adore him.
He is fully vaccinated, flea'd and wormed etc. We are looking for someone who will care for Indy in their home giving him the love he deserves. He has had sleep overs at folks houses with other dogs present and has never posed a threat to human or canine but does hate cats and will chase to catch (strangely was fine with both our guinea pigs - left them alone!).
We dont want to put him in the kennels for the obvious reasons. He has roughly two walks a day or big long walk when able. With the collie in him - he will be swinging from the chandelier if he doesn't get out at least once a day! We do leave him on occasion and has never damaged the house or belongings - mearly just tried to sleep on the couch!
Looking forward to hearing from anyone who would want the easy job of having Indy for a sleepover! We live in Chester.
