I'm looking for a dog friendly home for Deapha (pronounced Dee Fah) to stay in while I go away for work. I'm employed in the TV and Film industry, and at times, I'm required to work away from home for anything between a few days, to a month.
Deapha is an old dog, of about 14 years, but, still pretty lively considering his age. He loves his two daily walks of around 30 minutes duration.
For the rest of the day, he can be fairly sedentary and is quite used to being left alone in the house for several hours at a time, so you wouldn't be tied to a pining dog 24 hours a day!
He is totally house trained so never has "accidents" and never ever destroys personal possessions. The worst he may do is find a shoe to bring you as a "homecoming" present when you arrive back home.
He loves being petted and whilst he will bark if someone comes to the door, he loves meeting new people to see if he can get some petting from them too.
At this moment, I don't have any dates for going away, but with the filming season imminent, I'd like to find a dog sitter who would like to meet Deapha with a view to ongoing business.
If you are normally available for this kind of project at quite short notice (maybe just 3-4 days warning), then Deapha and I would love to hear from you.
