Details:
I own an 11 year old male Shih Tzu named Billy. He is fully vaccinated but not castrated. He is extremely well behaved but does bark at other dogs when walking on a lead and want to maintain an Alpha stance with them at times. At the same time, he is more than happy to wander off with some other dog walkers if he has taken a liking to them. Despite his age, he is very energertic when off and on lead and can run fast. Sadly, he is beginning to run out of steam a lot quicker now that he is becoming older.
Health is good other then prone to recent limping on occasion.
REASON FOR REQ!UIRED HELP
I have a severe respiratory problem which results in sudden and severe breathing difficulties requiring emergency ambulance admission to hospitals. My previous dog sitter would collect Billy for me and take care of him until I was discharged. Sadly, she recently passed away resutling in the loss of someone who had become a very dear friend and I miss her dearly. I need someone with their own transport and who does not live that far away and, most importantly, does not have a problem with "emergency same day" assistance. This is not suitable for a person who would require advance notice as the nature of my respiratory illness is sudden, dangerous and without any prior warning. I do not mind if the person takes care of Billy either within my home or within their own as long as they take good care of him. Of course, I also would not be in a position to state the date I would be leaving hospital and it could be anything from two days to two weeks (at a push). One night is the least time I have spent in hospital. Two weeks has been the most.
If you would be willing to help take care of a Shih Tzu during emergencies with just a phone call to say that I have been rushed to hospital then please do contact me to discuss further.
Many thanks and warm regards,
Marie
