Details:
Bertie is nearly 15 years old, sadly he is diabetic & needs twice daily injections, he has very little sight & hearing & a couple of other issues.
He doesnt require walks, just a potter round the garden, his temperament is excellent, you can do anything to him! from day one fantastic with children! I am going on holiday at half term, the person who was to look after him has let me down, can anyone help?
I appreciate he is a'difficult' dog & his time is drawing to an end, but when he greets me in a morning with a sniff & a tail wag & still loves to chew his chews & the odd pull on his ragger
I cannot part with him, though realise I have to when it is unkind to keep him. he has regular vet checks & to date I am advised it is not unkind or cruel keeping him. He still loves a cuddle & a fuss. So is there anyone out there who can help Bertie?
