I am looking for someone reliable to help with my dog, starting this week or from Thursday 11th January if possible until at least the end of the month.
Merlin is approx. 14 years old so, rather than one vigorous daily walk he needs to be looked in on a few times a day. So ideally, rather than being walked for an hour, he can be looked in on for a short while, perhaps 20 minutes, a few times a day. I shall be out between 6.00 a.m. and some time after 6.00 p.m. so three visits at approximately 10.00, at 13.00 and at 16.00 would seem reasonable.
This is by way of suggestion only; I realise that your timetable cannot fit around one dog. Do please feel free to suggest a different solution if what I have suggested is impractical.
Ideally he needs to be woken, encouraged to stretch his legs and be able to relieve himself every 4 hours. This is partly to save the carpets but more importantly to give him company and mental stimulation. He is a friendly dog with a number of handicaps so he needs someone extremely patient and kind and who makes the time to fuss over him and reassure him.
I would welcome you making an initial visit to be introduced to the dog and have his particular needs explained before we agree to any contract. Can you help please?
