I have a beautiful Border/Norfold Terrier companion called Scruffy. She is 9 years old and she came to me from the Terrier Rescue Society. She is much loved and has an amazing minder at the moment in West London where I currently live. I am moving to East Dulwich and would like to find an minder for her who cares and loves her and looks after her as passionately and as well as her current minder does. I have grown up with dogs all my life and I know a true dog lover when I meet one as does Scruff!
Scruffy was diagnosed with diabetes a year ago and she has had a difficult year in and out of hospital. She is stable again and full of life but now and then she will need extra attention (injecting her with insulin, taking her glucose curve, eye drops to be given for example). She is a very loving and trusting dog, adores playing ball and is very good with other dogs and children (she has day care with 3 other dogs). I need a very reliable dog lover with experience to collect her from my flat at 9am, bring her to the minder's home, walk her during the day (she gets two walks now a long one and a shorter walk) and drop her back around 5.30pm.
