Details:
Ivy is a very much loved 7 year old, quiet and affectionate. She is looking for a genuine dog lover without other pets who can look after her for 12 nights from May 17th on the Isle of Wight (preferably near Bembridge). Although she is quiet on her own in the house, she would prefer company and shouldn't be left alone for more than about 4 hours each day. She has to be on a lead at all times outside the home as, like all terriers, can be unpredictable when cats, squirrels, chickens, foxes, badgers and some other dogs are about. If the garden is not absolutely secure she will get through fences so best tethered for short periods if left outside. Would prefer an older person with experience of dogs rather than a young family.
